Dr. Kendra MacPherson, BSc, DVM, was born and raised in Lethbridge and received her Bachelor of Science with Distinction from the University of Lethbridge. She then attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
After obtaining her license, Dr. Kendra worked in several busy emergency practices. After several years of emergency, she settled down into general practice, working to develop those long-term bonds with clients. Dr. Kendra joined the team at Airdrie in January 2024.
Her professional interests include medicine, dental surgery, and soft tissue surgeries. She regularly attends professional conferences to improve her medical and surgical skills and to keep current with advances in medicine.
While away from the clinic, Dr. Kendra and her husband are often on travel adventures with their English Setters, Bree and Eddy. They enjoy hiking in the mountains, snowshoeing, and playing board games. The MacPhersons also have two rescue cats, Steve and Emma. It is a little known fact that Dr. Kendra is a talented watercolour artist, painting landscapes and pet portraits.
